About the Role
In this role, you will be provided with a targeted development opportunity to experience a position of greater scope and/or responsibility to help prepare you for a potential future District Manager role. You will set the tone for a group of store teams and help bring our brand to life for our customers and employees. Your leadership role is critical in supporting the execution of the stores’ strategy to achieve performance goals and drive profitable sales growth through all aspects of the stores, including customer and product operations, merchandising, and talent development. Your goal is to lead execution and support the brand and enterprise vision, ensuring your teams are delivering results and holding their teams accountable.
What You'll Do
• All leaders are expected to become experts of the brand's selling behaviors, leading, and leveraging these behaviors with every customer who walks through our doors and allowing us to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Support strategies and processes using a customer centric mindset to deliver results, drive group store sales, and maximize efficiencies and productivity.
• Attract, develop, and fuel a talent pipeline in support of the district, region, and brand talent strategy.
• Accountable for team performance of a group of stores through teaching, coaching, and providing meaningful feedback to build capabilities.
• Represent the brand, understand the competition, and retail landscape.
• Promote community involvement.
• Adapt team priorities to respond to customer and business partner needs.
• Maintain strong relationships and collaboration with peers, cross functional partners and Headquarter partners to leverage expertise in developing and executing strategies.
Who You Are
• General Manager currently leading a high performing store team: Strength in driving metrics to deliver results that meet or exceed business goals.
• Potential to move to a larger scope and have a clear development plan in place to be promoted to District Manager in the next 12-18 months.
• Lives in a market where taking over additional stores is feasible and executable.
• Able to travel overnight and/or between stores as required.
