WHAT YOU’LL DO 
As an Area Manager you are responsible for driving Sales, deliver an Excellent Customer Experience and reaching the Sales and Profit goals and targets in Area Stockholm (18 stores), by setting a plan in line with the Sales Market. You drive the development of your teams, ensuring the right people, are in the right place, working with leadership development and structured performance management for your team based on results and values. You work in accordance with legal requirements and H&M standards, policies, and procedures to meet the expectations of customers and colleagues. 
On this journey we are all working together to create the best omni customer offer and experience for our customers and you will play a key role in making this happen.  
The key responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
• You identify sales opportunities and implement strategies to deliver a customer first shopping experience in the stores in your area, ensuring that sales targets and reaching company goals.   
• You ensure you have high-performing teams and support their development to drive profitable growth. 
• You follow up and analyse key KPIs of the area and initiate actions to increase profit, balancing long and short-term planning together with the Area team. 
• You work with succession planning and leadership development and structured performance management for your Area Team and Store Managers based on results, values and leadership.    
• You ensure compliance with all safety & security, administration, and legal procedures. 
• You strengthen our company culture by promoting feedback in our daily work through distance leadership and coaching.

In this role, you will collaborate with multiple teams to ensure the successful expansion of the business. You will work closely with Store Management Teams, Area Team, Sales Market and Regional teams, providing key insights and recommendations.

And people who have… 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Area Manager or similar leadership role within retail   
• You have led in complex environments, demonstrating an outstanding ability to lead leaders and create efficient execution.  
• Solid experience from working with retail operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, store layout, and customer experience to be able to optimize the physical sales channel 
• A deep understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to manage sales and profit targets and to make informed decisions 
• Ability to identify opportunities and risks in your local market. This includes understanding customer demographics, preferences, and spending habits 
• Strong commitment and experience with providing a high level of customer service and contributing to the OMNI agenda   
• Flexibility to travel at least 50% of your time for store visits and meetings in your area
