As an Area Manager, you will lead and inspire a diverse team of individuals to deliver upon all elements of the BWS strategy.

Your exceptional leadership, commercial acumen and guidance will develop those around you.  

You will work closely with the State Manager and your peers to deliver great outcomes and results for our customers and the business, through our people.

A day in your life as a BWS Area Manager:

• Strategic Leadership: Delivering the BWS strategy by coaching, motivating and developing a multi-site team of Store Managers and through the implementation of operational plans. 
• Commercial & Customer Strategy: Driving a customer-centric sales culture across the Area group, leveraging data and sights to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Culture Building: Communicating clear direction and goals to develop an inclusive, positive, and high-performing team culture with a focus on safety. 
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Working horizontally with other Area Managers to share best practices and solve business challenges. 
• Innovation: Partnering with stakeholders to enhance customer experiences while finding ways to make work simpler for your teams. 
• Talent Development: Identifying and developing the next generation of talent to build a strong pipeline for the future.

About you

• Strong Leadership: Proven experience managing large teams across multiple sites within retail or a similar fast paced, customer focused environment. 
• Leadership Development: Track record of building high performing teams and developing the capability of team members.
• Strategic Mindset: Big-picture thinking, innovation and passion combined with transformational leadership abilities. 
• Navigating Complexity: Experience navigating complex licensing or regulatory landscapes is highly regarded. 
• Change Management: The ability to guide and inspire your team through evolving business landscapes. 
• People First: A customer and team-focused approach with the flexibility to travel across your region as required.
