The secretary is the chief organiser of the committee. They:
• ensure everyone has everything they need to make the meeting run smoothly in plenty of time 
• take minutes of all the decisions and actions decided upon at the meeting
• support the chairperson 
• coordinates all the correspondence for the committee (both during and between meetings)
