Ultimate Renovations is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our team on a maternity leave coverage contract, with the potential to transition into a longer-term role depending on business needs and fit. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to award-winning residential transformations while working alongside a collaborative and experienced design and production team.

In this role, you’ll help bring our clients’ visions to life by creating thoughtful, innovative designs and producing detailed technical drawings and compelling 3D renderings. With over 45 years of experience delivering exceptional renovations, we’re proud of the creativity, care, and expertise behind every project.

What You’ll Do

As an Architectural Technologist, you will be responsible for:

Working closely with our design and production teams to translate renovation requests and site measurements into technical drawings and 3D renderings

Revising drawings and renderings to reflect changes in scope, selections, or design direction throughout the design phase

Producing pre-production 3D renderings based on plans and post-construction photos

Preparing and submitting Building and Development Permit applications

What We’re Looking For

On your resume, we’ll be looking for:

A technical certification in Architectural Technologies from a recognized institution

2–5 years of design and drafting experience (residential experience is a strong asset)

Proficiency with Chief Architect software

Experience collaborating with designers and project managers and incorporating multiple streams of feedback into finalized designs

Previous customer-facing experience and site measurement experience (considered an asset)
