Job Description
Do you get a rush from seeing your designs go from sketchpad to skyline? At Fox Cities Builders, your work doesn’t collect digital dust — it rises out of the ground.
We’re looking for an Architectural Drafter — a creative powerhouse who can turn big ideas into build-ready plans and loves being part of a team that actually constructs what it designs. If you enjoy blending creativity with real-world impact, this is your stage.
What You’ll Be Creating
Detailed architectural and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD and Revit
Real-world agricultural and commercial buildings across Wisconsin
Clean, code-smart plans that flow seamlessly from concept to construction
Visual solutions alongside architects, engineers, and sales pros
You’ll take rough sketches, napkin ideas, and big visions — and transform them into polished, practical plans that crews can confidently build from. And you’ll do it in a fast-moving, high-energy environment where collaboration fuels creativity.
What You Bring to the Table
Strong experience with AutoCAD and Revit
A solid understanding of how buildings actually come together in the field
Clear communication skills and sharp problem-solving instincts
A creative eye backed by technical precision
Associate’s degree in Drafting, Architecture, or related field (preferred)
3D rendering skills? Even better — we love someone who can bring designs to life visually
Why You’ll Love It Here
An award-winning culture where people genuinely enjoy working together
Design work that becomes real, tangible structures you can drive past and say, “I helped build that.”
True collaboration — builders, engineers, and designers under one roof
Real opportunities to grow your skills and your career
If you’re ready to design with purpose, see your ideas take shape in steel and concrete, and have a little fun along the way — let’s build something amazing together.
