Position Overview
MCIS is seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Drafter to support our growing portfolio of mission critical projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring that all plans align with project specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and construction documents
Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers, architects, and project managers
Coordinate drafting work with internal design, BIM, and field teams
Ensure compliance with company standards, project requirements, and industry codes
Maintain organized drawing logs and version control
Assist in developing shop drawings and as-built documentation
Support project teams with design adjustments during construction phases
Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Drafting, or related field
2+ years of architectural drafting experience
Experience drafting in Autodesk Revit Architecture
Experience using Bluebeam software
Strong understanding of construction documents and design standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications
Mission critical or data center project experience preferred
Experience with Autodesk Navis works preferred, but not required
Familiarity with BIM coordination processes
Field construction experience is a plus
