Job Title: Architectural Cladding Estimator
Start Date: Immediately
Salary Range: $85,000-$115,000/annually DOE
Position Overview: The Architectural Cladding Estimator is responsible for evaluating and estimating the costs of planned exterior cladding and building envelope projects, including labor, equipment, materials, fabrication, and specialty assemblies.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform detailed estimates for architectural cladding systems, façade assemblies, insulated metal panels, aluminum composite materials, rain screens, screen walls, and other exterior envelope scopes
Generate detailed reports for labor hours, materials, equipment, fabrication elements, and other project requirements
Provide value engineering to identify optimal cladding solutions that meet client needs, code requirements, and performance standards
Thoroughly review project drawings, specifications, shop drawings, structural details, and manufacturer requirements
Attend client meetings with sales or project development staff to discuss technical options.
Perform on-site evaluations and document façade conditions
Maintain up-to-date market pricing for cladding materials and related components.
Negotiate pricing with suppliers, fabricators, and manufacturers
Draft and compile proposal documents, manufacturer documents, and submittals.
Participate in pre-bid and post-bid meetings
Network and market building-envelope services to Florida clients
Participate in job reviews and operational improvement initiatives
Complete risk analysis on complex exterior envelope projects
Identify pricing strategies and ideal projects based on backlog and resources
Generate job cost reports for budget establishment and monitoring
Maintain compliance with company processes and contract requirements
Participate in required departmental and sector meetings
Provide remote estimating support to other branches as needed
Conduct handoff meetings with assigned Project Managers after award
Minimum Education and Experience:
3+ years of experience estimating architectural cladding, façade systems, or building envelope projects (required)
5+ years of experience in commercial construction, preferably in exterior envelope assemblies.
Experience with ACM, IMP, metal panels, and rain screen assemblies preferred.
General construction and sales experience preferred
Continuing industry education as relevant to estimating job duties (even after hire)
1-2 years personnel leadership experience
OSHA 10 certification
Required Skills and Abilities:
Maintain a valid driver’s license in accordance with state laws and company driver policies
Understanding of OSHA safety requirements and adherence to all work safety protocols
Computer Proficient in software programs: Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Excel, Bluebeam, and Pipedrive or similar CRM
Ability to access building exteriors, ladders, lifts, and rooftops
Extensive knowledge of commercial façade/cladding systems and market-specific codes
Ability to read and interpret architectural plans, shop drawings, and specifications
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Highly dependable, organized, and detail‑oriented
Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
Pass initial drug test and participate in random drug test program
Primarily indoor office environment
Overtime and weekend work
Ability to climb ladders, access elevated areas, and perform exterior assessments.
