What you do as a Architectural/ Civil/ Structural BIM Modeler (MCF/ Data Centres)

As a Architectural/ Civil/ Structural BIM Modeler, you will play a crucial role in developing and engineering designs for our Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) projects, working closely with project teams and under the guidance of the Lead Engineer. Your responsibilities will include creating and managing BIM families, modeling building service installations in 3D Revit/ BIM, and ensuring designs are accurate, functional, and buildable without revisions. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and coordinate service installation diagrams, ensuring initial space reservations with other disciplines.
Integrate functionality, mountability, accessibility, and maintainability into models to ensure buildable designs without revisions.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, cross-border team to deliver projects.
Contribute to optimizing internal processes and share knowledge within the team.
Maintain regular communication with Project Engineers and ensure all work meets Haskoning and client standards.

Our global Mission Critical Facilities (MCF) team provides a multidisciplinary package of consultancy services for our datacenter clients. We provide strategic, tactical, and operational advice to our clients, including colocation datacentres, internet service providers, and telecom companies. Our team consists of colleagues with all kinds of different expertise. For example, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, civil, structure, building, architecture, fire safety, control engineering, and security technology. Together we use our knowledge and expertise to develop integrated designs for Data Centres.

What you bring

You are an entrepreneurial, result oriented, proactive individual with a positive flexible and problem-solving attitude. Besides that, you have:

A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in consulting engineering, with positions available for Junior, Mid-level, and Senior candidates;
Proficiency in BIM and Revit is essential; certifications are advantageous;
Experience with Dynamo, Python, and automation tools is highly beneficial;
Familiarity with Common Data Environments and relevant platforms is required;
Strong knowledge in either Architecture, Structural, or Civil with experience in building projects; industrial or data center exposure is a plus;
demonstrating excellent communication skills towards colleagues and clients, and is fluent in English. Spanish is also preferable, Dutch and/ or German would be a plus.
