Role Overview 

We are looking for an experienced Architect to join MDev as a developer-side architectural lead, with a strong focus on real estate development projects. 

You will represent Mindsets across real estate initiatives, overseeing and coordinating external architects and consultants, while ensuring that all developments align with our vision, quality standards, and strategic objectives. 

You will be involved throughout the full real estate project lifecycle — from concept and design development to permitting, construction, and execution. 

This role requires candidates to be currently authorized to work in Cyprus and to bring hands-on experience operating within the local market and regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities 

Design Leadership & Oversight 

Review and guide architectural designs developed by external firms  

Ensure alignment with Mindsets’ vision, brand, and sustainability standards  

Contribute to concept development and feasibility input  

Project Development Management 

Lead architectural coordination across multiple projects (residential, commercial, mixed-use)  

Oversee design progression from concept through permitting and construction documentation  

Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning laws, and building codes  

Stakeholder & Consultant Coordination 

Act as the main point of contact between Mindsets and external architectural teams  

Coordinate with engineers, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders  

Drive alignment, resolve design conflicts, and ensure timely decision-making  

Quality & Execution Control 

Review drawings, specifications, and technical documentation  

Ensure design intent is maintained throughout execution  

Identify risks, inconsistencies, and inefficiencies early in the process  

Innovation & Sustainability 

Integrate sustainable and forward-thinking design principles into projects  

Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies  

Contribute to elevating design and development standards across MDev  

Candidate Profile 

Experience 

5-8 years of experience in architecture in Cyprus 

Candidates MUST hold a valid work permit for Cyprus and demonstrate prior professional experience working within the Cypriot market. 

Strong experience in residential and commercial projects (multi-unit, mixed-use, etc.)  

Proven track record of managing projects from concept through permitting and construction  

Experience working with developers or in a client-side role is a strong advantage  

Technical & Professional Skills 

Strong understanding of local building codes and permitting processes (Cyprus preferred)  

Ability to review and develop architectural drawings and documentation  

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams  

Proficiency in tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar
