About The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Personal Accounting Manager to our CEO to manage his and family financial affairs. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, absolute confidentiality, and the ability to handle complex personal and investment-related financial matters. The ideal candidate will act as a trusted financial partner, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial organization.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Financial Management & Reporting
Manage day-to-day personal accounting, including accounts payable/receivable and cash flow tracking
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and net worth reports
Reconcile bank, credit card, and investment accounts
Tax Planning & Compliance
Coordinate preparation and filing of personal, trust, and entity tax returns
Work closely with external CPAs, tax advisors, and legal counsel
Track estimated tax payments and ensure timely compliance
Investment & Asset Oversight
Monitor investment accounts and coordinate with wealth managers
Track performance, capital gains/losses, and asset allocations
Maintain records for real estate holdings, private investments, and other assets
Budgeting & Expense Oversight
Create and manage personal and household budgets
Oversee large purchases, recurring expenses, and lifestyle costs
Identify opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization
Recordkeeping & Confidentiality
Maintain organized and secure financial records (digital and physical)
Ensure strict confidentiality of all financial and personal information
Support audits, financial reviews, and special projects as needed
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5+ years of accounting experience, preferably supporting HNW individuals or family offices
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
High proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, personal finance platforms)
Preferred
CPA or equivalent certification
Experience in Real estate transactions and management of lessees
Experience with trusts, estates, and multi-entity structures
Experience in dealing with complex LLC structures
Familiarity with investment reporting and real estate accounting

Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 plus opportunity for annual bonus; salary is based on the experience that you bring to the position.
Location: This is an in-office position, minimum of 4 days per week in office with the option to work from home 1 day per week, in Irvine, CA. This work schedule is subject to change without notice as per company guidelines.
