Role Overview
The primary goal of the Quality Controller (QC) - Multilingual Safety Content (Hindi) is to review, validate, and ensure the quality, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness of safety-related content produced by contributors.
This role focuses on enforcing project guidelines and ensuring that all deliverables meet the required linguistic, cultural, and safety standards for the Indian (Hindi-speaking) Indian market.

Project Details:
Project Duration: Immediate until January 23 (possible extension until January 27)
Work Type: Freelance – Remote (APAC time zones only)
Work Hours:
Minimum: 20 hours per week
Maximum: 40 hours per week
Work Schedule:
Minimum of 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday, OR
2 hours Monday to Friday + 10 hours over the weekend
Attendance: Reliable, consistent daily/weekly commitment is mandatory
Hourly Rate: 8 USD
Strong familiarity with Indian cultural norms and safety issues relevant to Hindi-speaking audiences is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
• Review text prompts, sourced images, and safety explanations created by contributors for accuracy and guideline compliance
• Validate cultural relevance and contextual accuracy for the Hindi-speaking Indian market
• Enforce safety policies and annotation standards; identify and correct deviations
• Review translations and adaptations between English and Hindi
• Provide clear, actionable feedback to contributors to improve quality and consistency
• Identify recurring quality issues and escalate when necessary

Desired Skills & Attributes:
• Strong judgment in evaluating safety-related scenarios within a cultural context
• High attention to linguistic and contextual detail
• Analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent command of English and Hindi
• Comfortable using Google Drive and Google Sheets
• Prior experience in QC, content review, data annotation QA, localization QA, or safety review work (required)

Required Fluency and Cultural Familiarity:
• Native or professional (C1/C2) proficiency in English and Hindi
• Strong understanding of cultural nuances, social norms, and safety considerations relevant to India
