Job Description
Princeton Hydro is seeking a full-time Aquatic Specialist to perform pond and lake management services in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and New York regional area. Additional travel may be necessary on occasion. This position will be primarily based in our Ringoes, New Jersey office. The ideal candidate will possess practical work experience in construction, landscaping or general labor industry.

Key Responsibilities:
Apply aquatic and upland pesticides (algaecides/herbicides), and other non-pesticide products (training and licensing will be provided if not already licensed)
Assist in managing algae and aquatic vegetation in ponds, lakes, and other water bodies with appropriate training provided
Inspect, install, and maintain water fountains and aeration systems with appropriate training provided
Conduct pond and lake assessments.
Clean, service, and maintain boats, trailers, equipment, machinery, and facilities
Perform a variety of field activities in aquatic and upland environments
Operate boats and amphibious equipment with appropriate training provided
Required Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license
Willingness to work with pesticides
Comfortable driving trucks and towing boats or trailers
Ability to learn quickly and retain new skills
Strong swimming ability
Commitment to safety in all work activities
Effective communication skills with team members and clients
Ability to lift and carry 50+ pounds
Capable of working both independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
Willingness to travel and occasionally stay overnight at job sites
Organized with the ability to maintain a clean and orderly work environment
Experience using hand and power tools
High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
Licensed pesticide applicator or operator.
Licensed boat operator
Experience troubleshooting basic electrical systems
Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing small engines
