Applications Engineer - Spare Parts Specialist

Job Description:
This position will be based out of Zeeco’s Global Technology Center (GTC). The position will require knowledge of all Zeeco products and required spare parts. The position will be responsible for individual proposal management, and all Zeeco disciplines required, ensuring the most complete offering with the greatest potential for award and contract.

Job Duties:
· Review PE / Product Group requests for spare parts lists, including project documentation and create spare parts quotations. Work with Project Engineers to ensure all viable spare parts are quoted.
· Analyze and interpret customer inquiries, including specifications, to specify appropriate equipment and/or spare parts for the application.
· Develop cost estimates according to established guidelines.
· Set product pricing using market intelligence plus mark-up and commission schedules established by management.
· Locate and use drawings and other project information needed for quotation.
· Create, edit, and issue formal quotations to customers.
· Follow-up on open quotes as well as any written or verbal correspondence from customers.
· Provide updates regarding the status of open proposals and action items needed to win the order.
· Work with management to determine updated skills and tools needed to continue improving performance and knowledge.
· Performs other duties as may be assigned that are appropriate based on skills and experience.

Qualifications:
· 5+ years of industry experience (ie. sales and/or industry experience) and or Zeeco experience.
