Application Project Manager - Managed Agencies

We are currently looking for an Application Project Manager to join our dynamic team! The role will be forward deployed to be part of the team in public agencies.

Your role will include:

• You will collaborate with various project managers, solutions architect and infra engineers to deliver leading-edge digital solutions and services to meet the business requirements. You are constantly looking at new ways to apply digital technologies to meet business needs and can handle multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and track multiple projects across the various teams, ensuring efficient progress and timely completion.
• Coordinate procurement related activities such as contract renewals, licenses
• Coordinate system security audits and vulnerability assessments preparations and completion.
• Facilitate collaboration between the development and technology team, ensuring effective communication and alignment of goals.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, statuses, and reports, serving as the primary source of project information for the teams.
• Organise and lead regular cadence meetings to keep senior leadership updated on project progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Identify and help overcome blockers in project execution, proactively proposing solutions and facilitating decision-making processes.
• Implement and manage project management tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and transparency.

Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in in any field or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical team members.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on tracking and managing short-term projects.
• Experience in facilitating collaboration between diverse teams, particularly business development and technology teams.
• Ability to quickly understand and summarise complex technical concepts for reporting purposes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project blockers.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and their business implications is a plus.
• Adaptability and comfort with working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
