Job Purpose:
Build the systems that power our data, integrations, and enterprise workflows

We’re looking for an Application Engineer to design, build, and maintain the platforms and integrations that serve as the backbone of our enterprise technology ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of application development, system integration, and data pipeline preparation, working closely with both business stakeholders and our Data team.

What You’ll Do:
Our Application Engineers are the builders behind our internal platforms—the connective tissue that links enterprise business systems and delivers clean, reliable data for analytics and reporting.
Application Development & Integration
• Design and implement new features for core platforms, including our DataGrid environment
• Build utility tools, reporting applications, and workflow automations that streamline operations
• Develop and maintain integrations with enterprise systems such as Dynamics 365, Procore, Autodesk, and others
• Prepare upstream data pipelines for seamless handoff to the Data team
Maintenance & Optimization
• Monitor applications and integrations to ensure performance, reliability, and data accuracy
• Proactively troubleshoot issues and implement improvements that enhance stability
• Optimize code, integrations, and data flows to support evolving business needs
Documentation & Collaboration
• Document application logic, integration patterns, and data handoff processes with clarity
• Participate in Agile sprints, including planning, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to align technical solutions with operational goals
You’re someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience in application development or system integration
• Proficiency with C#, SQL, and front‑end frameworks (React, Flutter, or similar)
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of enterprise integrations and data pipeline concepts
Bonus Points:
• Hands-on experience integrating with Dynamics 365, Procore, or Autodesk
• Experience building or supporting Azure or cloud-hosted applications
• Familiarity with API design, middleware patterns, and upstream data preparation
• Background in construction technology or field-services environments

Pay Range: $80,000-$90,000
