Apt Resources is seeking an Application Development Officer for our client in the utilities and infrastructure sector in Qatar.
The ideal candidate will act as a techno functional Oracle HRMS specialist, supporting mission critical HR and payroll systems while driving system enhancements and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide techno functional support for Oracle E Business Suite HRMS modules including Core HR, Payroll, and Oracle Time and Labor
• Support payroll teams during monthly payroll runs and resolve urgent payroll related issues
• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle HRMS applications and related custom components
• Develop solutions using OAF, Oracle Workflow, Fast Formula, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher
• Support integrations with other Oracle modules such as Finance and SCM and third party systems
• Perform troubleshooting, bug fixes, testing, and performance tuning
• Participate in system upgrades, patches, and SDLC documentation
• Deliver training and knowledge transfer to end users and junior team members
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security standards, and best practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of techno functional experience in Oracle E Business Suite R12 HRMS
• Strong experience in Payroll, Core HR, and OTL modules
• Hands on experience with OAF, Fast Formula, Oracle Workflow, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher
• Experience with RICEW components and HRMS customizations
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
• Experience in utilities, power, energy, or water sectors is a plus
• English is required, Arabic is an advantage
