Application Cloud Architect

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Application Cloud Architect to join our UniQue team.

What will you be doing in this role?

• Analyze and integrate different information systems or building blocks.
• Execute data analysis and data modelling.
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture.
• Design/development/maintenance of applications that reflect the specifications.
• Participate in the deployment and configuration of the system (s).
• Production of software architecture documents.
• Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the Project Team.
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
• Creating designs and blueprints of Cloud Architecture.
• Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud if applicable.
• Design and development of architecture components and building blocks using cloud components.

Requirements:
What will you be bringing to the team?

• Bachelor's degree and 13 years of experience OR Master and 9 years of experience (experience cannot overlap with studies).
• Hold one or more of the following certifications is an advantage:
• Oracle Certified Professional Java Application Developer
• Angular Certification
• Certified DevSecOps Professional (CDP)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

• Minimum 3 years of recent experience in applications design and JAVA development.
• At least 2 years of recent experience in architecture best practices and patterns.
• No less than 2 years of recent experience in Angular/JS development.
• Minimum 5 years of recent experience in relational DBMS (especially Oracle DB, SQL).
• At least 2 years of recent experience in interoperability technology (web services, message-oriented middleware, service-oriented bus, event architecture).
• At least 2 years of recent experience in Agile and Agile toolbox (e.g. JIRA, Confluence, BigPicture, Balsamiq, etc).
• Very good knowledge of the following technologies: Hibernate, GIT, MAVEN, XML, JSON, SOAP, REST
• Excellent communicator and capability to speak to business and technical audiences in public institutions.
• Good redaction skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent critical thinker, by using logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions.
• Experience with the following is considered an advantage:
• Understanding of European Commission's building blocks like EU Login, eUI, CNS and e-Delivery.

• Knowledge of serverless development and NoSQL databases.

• Experience and specific expertise in A/B, Blue/Green and Canary deployments.

• Proficiency in English language at a minimum C1 level.
• Proficiency in French language at a minimum B1 level is considered an asset.
