An experienced and results-driven Appian Developer with a background in designing, developing, and deploying end-to-end BPM solutions using the Appian platform. Proven track record of delivering Appian projects teams, architecting scalable solutions, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Possesses a good understanding of Appian features, integration capabilities, and agile delivery methodologies. Skilled in collaborating with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into effective process automation solutions.

Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Appian BPM Platform (latest versions): A good level of understanding of Appian architecture, design patterns, and solutioning.
• Process Model Design: Experience in designing robust process models and workflows.
• Integration: Web services (REST), Connected Systems, OAuth
• Data Management: CDT design, Records, Expression rules, and Decision tables.
• Appian Plug-ins & Smart Services: Knowledge of commonly used plug-ins and ability to create custom plug-ins.
• Security Design: Role-based access control, Appian groups, and permission models.
• Deployment & DevOps: Experience with Appian DevOps tools (e.g., compare & deploy) , package creation & environment promotions.
• Cloud & on-premises Installations: Knowledge of Appian cloud.
• Nice to have - SAIL Interface Design: Proficient in developing dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly Appian SAIL interfaces.
• Nice to have – non-Appian:  Azure (app registrations, Entra ID), Azdo.

Leadership & Project Delivery:

• Design & Architecture: Ability to design scalable, performant Appian applications aligned with client’s enterprise architecture.
• Agile & Scrum Methodologies: Sprint planning, user stories, backlog refinement, demos.
• Team Leadership: Mentoring developers, code reviews, enforcing coding standards and best practices.
• Stakeholder Communication: Requirements gathering, technical documentation, status updates.
• Quality Assurance: Ensuring unit testing, performance tuning, and code optimization.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Proactive attitude with a focus on results and customer satisfaction
• Team player with a mentoring mindset

Certifications:

• Appian certifications are a plus.
