Apigee Hybrid Administrator

Location: Riyadh (Onsite)

Master Works is seeking a skilled and experienced Apigee Hybrid Administrator to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This critical onsite role involves managing and supporting our enterprise API management platform deployed on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with Anthos or Kubernetes-based infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring high availability, security, and performance of APIs used across various digital initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setup , Administer and maintain Apigee Hybrid platform in a production environment deployed on GCP Anthos or equivalent Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Ensure system stability, high availability, and secure configuration of the hybrid runtime components.
• Monitor API traffic, usage, and performance; proactively identify and address bottlenecks and issues.
• Define and implement robust API security measures, including OAuth 2.0, API keys, threat protection, and traffic management.
• Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Development teams to deploy, scale, and optimize, API runtimes.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to API gateway, routing, and backend integration.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for hybrid deployment architecture, operational procedures, and APIs.
• Continuously evaluate new features, updates, and best practices for Apigee Hybrid and Kubernetes environments.

Requirements:
• Familiarity with service meshes (Istio), ingress gateways, and cloud-native security practices.
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience administering Apigee Hybrid in a production grade deployment.
• Solid experience with GCP (Google Cloud Platform) and Anthos, or equivalent Kubernetes-based environments.
• Anthos on Premise experience or any K8 setup and deployment.
• Deep understanding of API management, API gateway patterns, and lifecycle management.
• Proven expertise in API security protocols including OAuth2, API key management, and threat protection mechanisms.
• Proficient in API performance monitoring and log analysis using Apigee tools or third party observability platforms.
• Strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP services and backend integration techniques.
• Experience in CI/CD pipelines for API deployment.

Preferred Skills

• Good to have GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Apigee API Engineer)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fiel
