Position Title: Apigee API Developer

Location: San Francisco , CA

Hire Type: Full Time Only

Job Description:-

• One year hands-on development experience on APIGEE edge platform.

• Experience previously working in ESB and API implementation projects.

• Candidates will need to be able to perform hands-on technical development to implement APIs and policies.

• Working experience using web services and API’s built on SOAP or REST and using XML or JSON.

• API design/modelling using Swagger 2.0

• Working knowledge on securing data channels using various mechanisms (basic authentication, OAuth 2.0, etc.)

• Insurance Domain knowledge preferred

Technical/Functional Skills

• Hands on development experience on Apigee Edge and (or) other API platforms (CA API / IBM API / MuleSoft API)

• Experience working on web technologies JSON, REST, SOAP, NodeJS, oAuth, Swagger 2.0

Roles & Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing & developing APIs

• Works in conjunction with Program Manager to size, manage scope and risk

Generic Managerial/Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Successful teamwork experience

• Proven ability to transfer knowledge and stay aware of current trends and technical advancements

• Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies
