API 653 Certified Tank Inspector with PCMS experience - Contract

Our client, located in Coffeyville, is looking for an API 653 Certified Tank Inspector with PCMS Experience.

This is expected to be a 3-to-6-month assignment with potential additional months depending on the schedule to additional tank opening for inspection and the performance of the contractor to assume additional roles and responsibilities. 

Tentative start date is within the next 3 weeks (early April); work schedule should be planned as 40 hours per week with weekend work as required to meet schedule and work execution oversight.

Scope of work:

• Review of repair drawings, ensure welder compliance
• Following/ laying out of repairs ensuring compliance with Engineering Specifications and API 653 Code requirements. 
• Additional duties will include:
• PCMS data entry, data analysis, scrubbing of tank data files. 
• Tank Inspector may be requested to walkdown and inspect Soil Air Interface locations and data file scrubs and updates. 

• Must have API 653 Certified Tank Inspector with PCMS Experience.
• Requires high school diploma or equivalent, technical school or college credits preferred.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Inspector.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience/ knowledge of PCMS is required
• Must have knowledge and understanding of inspection methods and code requirements.
• Be capable of self-managing time and productivity.
• Strong organizational skills
• Able to effectively communicate both verbally and written.
• A per diem will be paid while at site in Coffeyville if you don't live near Coffeyville.
