Job Description

Position Description:

· Act as the functional and technical lead for Kafka implementation

· Enabling real time capabilities – designing application and proposing architecture for real time applications

· Managing architecture for performance tuning related to Kafka

· Working the development team of 5-6 developers on the implementation of Kafka

· Provide input to development team to implement Kafka

Requirements:
Required Skills:

· Confluent or Apache Kafka experience (Apache preferred) – implementing from scratch, OnPrem and also Cloud (Azure or AWS, mostly Azure here)

· Hands-on experience building Real time data streaming experience (ex: Rest APIs) ex: streaming change data capture

· 3+ years of Architecture design experience within Kafka

· 3+ years SQL query and debugging, performance improvement experience is an absolute must

· 3+ years hands-on development in Web Technologies – Angular or React, .Net to create RestAPIs very highly preferred (must for now)

· AI assisted coding experience a must using Github Copilot or similar tools

Bonus Skills:

· Healthcare prior experience to understand healthcare data

· EDI 834 and 820 knowledge

· FACETS, FACETS extensions, and Member experience a must and surrounding application areas

· FHIR API experience a bonus
