Since its spin-off in September 2025 AUMOVIO continues the business of the former Continental group sector Automotive as an independent company. The technology and electronics company offers a wide-ranging portfolio that makes mobility safe, exciting, connected, and autonomous. Within department "Wireless Communication" we support the development of systems with a RF based communication link. These RF sub-systems need to be defined, specified and validated. For the following tasks we are looking for an additional team member.

The tasks will be:

• RF system concept definition support

• Support of the RF system specification creation

• Technical presentations and discussions with our customers

• Coordination of all RF related activities within the projects across different departments and locations

• Support of certification and homologation

• RF vehicle integration (Vehicle validation measurements, coordination of the validation with the customer and internal contacts, report creation and customer presentations)

• RF system release

• Support antenna definition, placement and mounting on the car

• Examination of wireless communication and sensing systems
• Basic and use-case driven testing of signal processing implementations including data-analysis

• University degree in electrical engineering, computational engineering or similar with experience in the field of RF

• Several years of professional experience in wireless communication system design or application, wireless communication or RADAR signal processing including radio frequency measurement techniques.

• Profound knowledge of the RF physical layer of wireless services, mainly UWB and Bluetooth Low Energy.

• Knowledge of signal analysis and signal processing with Matlab and/or Python

• Knowledge in radio frequency and wireless communication systems, like UWB, Bluetooth, WLAN, broadcast (AM/FM/DAB), 5G, TV, GNSS,…etc.

• Very good understanding of RF measurement techniques

• Good knowledge of RF Antenna application and mounting impact

• Good understanding of mechanical requirements

• Good capability in RF design

• Experience in automotive industry preferable

• Organizational and good communication skills to operate in international teams

• Fluent English prefered
