The Opportunity
In this role, you will help advance the YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick’s fundraising efforts by supporting annual giving, corporate partnerships, staff giving, and signature fundraising events. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will contribute to the planning, delivery, and growth of the Annual Campaign, Endowment Fund, and third-party fundraising initiatives that directly support positive community impact.
You will build respectful, meaningful relationships with donors, corporate partners, volunteers, and staff, while supporting strong stewardship practices, accurate reporting, and a positive donor experience. Working collaboratively across departments, you will help align fundraising efforts with the Y’s mission, values, and commitment to inclusive communities. Responsibilities
Support the Annual Campaign by coordinating and liaising with external partners and assisting with fundraising activities.
Work with staff and volunteers to implement the annual campaign and highlight the image of the Y and promote interest.
Develop and sustain good working relationships with donors, volunteers, alumni, YMCA staff, and members of the community.
Lead and grow the planning, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the Red Triangle and special event opportunities.
Lead and grow staff giving campaign including kickoff, acknowledgement and thank you, as well as support for staff fundraising initiatives.
Actively identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners and third party fundraising groups to meet and exceed annual revenue targets.
Build and manage a portfolio of corporate and community partners, including prospecting, meetings, proposals, and follow up.
Develop tailored sponsorship and partnership opportunities that align corporate objectives with YMCA impact and community outcomes.
Serve as the primary relationship manager for third party fundraisers, providing guidance, tools, and ongoing engagement to maximize results.
Collaborate with internal teams to cross promote fundraising opportunities and strengthen partner value propositions.
Support maintaining the donor database to ensure accuracy and timely donor stewardship.
Perform donor stewardship activities daily, ensuring calendar of activities are completed and recorded.
Ensure prompt response with donor for thank you notes and emails daily.
Review monthly donor reports and collate available data, presenting the analysis of campaigns and trends and adjusting strategies according to reports.
Reviewing Monthly metrics and filling out appropriate reports and making recommendations.

Skills and Qualifications
Minimum 1–2 years of related paid or volunteer experience in fundraising, sales, business development, or a comparable field.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with donors, partners, and internal teams.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong organizational abilities.
Experience with Raiser’s Edge and/or Canva is considered an asset.
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory Criminal Record Check.
Completion of a related undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Proven ability to collaborate across departments and build consensus in a team-based environment.
Strong initiative and sound judgment, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated success in sales, fundraising, or business development, including meeting or exceeding targets.

Competitive Compensation: $42,000–$46,000.
