Chain Reaction is looking for an Animator to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding the goals of our clients and be able to oversee project strategy to project completion. By knowing emerging technologies in the area, this candidate will be able to create cross-channel deliverables for clients that meet their needs.

Requirements:
Chain Reaction is looking for an Animator to join our Amman team to develop complex animation assets for production who should be capable of forming new creative ideas as well as have an eye for creative detail to be able to critique ideas.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assign work to junior team members based on specializations in line with the project plan.
• Create keyframes for animated sequences showing motion by using advanced animation techniques.
• Decide the number of animated sequences to be created from the storyboard or animatic.
• Develop various available animation techniques to broaden skill sets and deliver across a variety of projects.
• Enhance own portfolio with animation created from research and work done on previous projects.
• Explore complex motion techniques to enhance skills.
• Guide research to form ideas for animation sequences.
• Guide the creation of blocking animation to decide the motion sequence for each shot in the scene.
• Guide the creative thought process by using illustrations during creative briefings.
• Identify tools and pipeline requirements for assigned work.
• Picture various types of simulated motion required in the shots to animate the scene.
• Refine animated sequences based on inputs from the creative leadership.
• Review animation sequences created by junior team members to provide creative inputs for refinement.
• Study script, storyboards and concept art to understand the animation requirements.
• Study the motion required for characters created from concept to communicate to teams.
• Support the creation of the project plan for the team by providing time estimates for specific tasks.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas.
• Ensure compliance with client guidelines and design standards.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or any related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• English Fluency
• Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
• Experience with design software and graphics editing software
• A keen eye for detail
• Ability to work within a team.
