Position Summary:
Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the candidate will contribute to scientific research projects.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
• Training of alert animals (including large animals) four days a week.
• Participating in the management of cutting-edge MRI of alert animals.
• Participating in the management of neurophysiology experiments with alert animals.
• Keeping electronic records of the training and experiment data.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:
• The work requires good skills in organization for record-keeping.
• Previous experience in working with and/or training animals required, experience with large animals is an asset.
• Part-time (16 hours a week).
• The candidate’s contribution will be recognized by co-authorship on publications.
• The work can (but does not have to) be combined with research towards a graduate degree (Master’s or Ph.D.).
• This position is on research fund
