Hiring Unit:

Macdonald Campus Farm/Dairy Unit

Position Summary:

Feeding /milking /cleaning pens / bedding stalls /sweeping /cleaning-brushing cows/  educational tours and all other duties assigned by the senior technician.  This is a high paced working environment, be prepared for physical work! You may also be required to work at other areas of the Farm as determined by the Farm Manager, doing a variety of tasks not necessarily listed in this contract.

Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities:

Previous work on a dairy farm an asset.

Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level # 2 on a scale of 0-4.”
