Position Overview
The Anesthesiologist will provide comprehensive anesthesia care for a variety of surgical procedures and work closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and other medical professionals to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
• Administer anesthesia for a wide range of surgical and medical procedures
• Evaluate patients prior to procedures and develop appropriate anesthesia care plans
• Monitor patients during procedures and adjust anesthesia levels as needed
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and clinical staff to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental activities

Requirements:
General Requirements
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
• Completion of an accredited residency program in anesthesiology
• Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented healthcare environment

• Prior clinical experience in hospital-based anesthesiology practice
