ABOUT THE ROLE
The clinic is seeking an experienced and patient-centered Anesthesia Nurse (Anestesisjuksköterska) to join its plastic surgery team in Malmö. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative process, working alongside surgeons and clinical staff to deliver exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess patient readiness for anesthesia and participate in pre-operative evaluations
• Administer local, regional, or sedation anesthesia under approved protocols
• Monitor patients throughout procedures, adjusting medications and interventions as needed
• Manage airway support, vital signs, and patient responses during surgery
• Provide postoperative recovery care, monitoring patient stability and comfort
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive anesthesia documentation
• Collaborate with the surgical team to uphold high standards of safety and quality
• Follow all Swedish regulations and professional guidelines for anesthesia care
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse (RN) with official Swedish licensure
• Certified Anesthesia Nurse (specialist nursing degree in anesthesia care)
• Experience in surgical or ambulatory anesthesia (plastic surgery preferred)
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to respond to emergencies
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient safety and high-quality care
• Fluency in Swedish and English is required
