Our team specializes in developing native iOS and Android mobile applications that are tightly integrated with IoT device hardware, supporting live video, real-time device control, and secure connectivity at scale. We operate with an Agile methodology, featuring transparent sprint planning and milestone-driven delivery with full visibility into progress. Our applications run at scale with a modular architecture, dependency injection, and reusable libraries, supporting a large codebase and complex features.

Job Summary

We're looking for an experienced Android Software Engineer with passion for mobile technologies who will work with our team of talented engineers to design and build native mobile applications. This role focuses on collaboration with team members on designing and building maintainable, future-proof code, participating in new features development, apps optimization, maintenance.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship features

• Work with outside data sources and APIs

• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance

• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, OOP/OOAD and ability to apply it in practice

• Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles

• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java programming languages

• Deep understanding of Android SDK, platform architecture, and development best practices

• Experience with modern Android UI development (Jetpack Compose and XML layouts)

• Expertise in asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow

• Experience with dependency injection frameworks (Dagger)

• Experience with unit testing and UI testing frameworks

• Proactive problem-solving habits and engineering mindset

• Good written and spoken English

Nice to have

• Experience with debugging tools and performance profiling

• Understanding of memory management and performance optimization techniques

• Experience with IoT, video streaming, or Bluetooth technologies is a plus
