Our target is to create high-tech applications for the financial POS ecosystem running on Android.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop & maintain EFT POS Android application making good use of all the latest APIs
• Work closely with our professional services teams for the design & implementation of new features & services
• Track down and resolve issues
• Keep up with the latest SDK, tools and conventions
• Participate in code review session to ensure that the provided solution meets end to end business scenarios and fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing
• Keep up-to-date on current and upcoming features in relevant products and platforms

Requirements:
• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline
• 2 years hands-on experience in building Android apps with strong familiarity in Android design principles & best practices
• Experience working in Kotlin and Java- it's a must have
• Experience in C++ will be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Android SDK (different versions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes)
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs (JSON) to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Experience in software architect role with integration/functional/UI Automation testing & background in mobile application security

• Experience with Banking technologies and transactions processing would be an advantage
• Excellent command of English language, both verbal and written
• Self-motivated individual with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, who has the mindset to innovate and the ability to prioritize tasks & meet challenging schedules
