Project Description

The project focuses on expanding the Android development team responsible for the client’s mobile application, which enables users to virtually try on glasses, test their vision, and order customized eyewear. A major new initiative involves collaboration with Google on next-generation smart glasses.

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain new features for the Android application

• Integrate upcoming smart glasses products into the app

• Implement UI/UX components using Jetpack Compose

• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers

• Participate in technical solution discussions and contribute to technical decision-making

• Maintain existing functionality through debugging, optimization, and refactoring

• Ensure seamless user experience and compatibility with future hardware integrations

Job Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Android development

• Strong proficiency in Kotlin

• Experience with modern Android frameworks/libraries (Jetpack Compose, Hilt, okHttp, Moshi, Coil)

• Experience with ARCore or OpenCV is highly desirable

• Knowledge of English from Upper-Intermediate and higher

• Ability to work effectively with distributed teams

• Readiness to work aligned with the EST time zone

• Strong ownership mindset and attention to details

Nice To Have

• Experience integrating Bluetooth/BLE devices

• Background in AR/VR or computer vision-driven mobile applications

• Experience with e-commerce or SaaS mobile products
