Analytics Engineer
We're on a mission to shake up the status quo, and we're seeking passionate, innovative minds to join our journey. As an Analytics Engineer in CreatorIQ’s GTM Ops organization, you'll play a pivotal role in building the data foundation that drives our business forward. Working closely with our lead Data Engineer within our GTM Analytics & Insights team, you'll start by working with raw sales and marketing data and also, extending our existing dimensional models before progressively taking ownership of new datamart development as our data foundation grows. From building high-performance Tableau dashboards to designing the dbt models that power them, your work will directly shape how we understand and act on our customer journey. Immerse yourself in our performance-driven, fun, and highly motivated culture where we celebrate wins, learn from every challenge, and push each other to new heights.
In this role, you’ll get to:
• Design and deliver high-impact Tableau dashboards — build and maintain performant, self-serve dashboards that give GTM teams actionable visibility into revenue KPIs and customer journey metrics
• Bring visualization judgment to every deliverable — apply a strong sense of which chart types and layouts serve each audience — translating complex data into intuitive, decision-ready views
• Present and validate work with stakeholders — walk analysts and GTM managers through dashboards and metric definitions, confirm analytical logic is sound, and incorporate feedback to improve reliability and self-serve adoption
• Gather and document business requirements — partner with GTM Strategy & Insights managers to translate business questions into scoped, well-documented analytical requirements
• Own and extend our dimensional modeling layer — learn our existing dbt models and datamart conventions, then progressively take ownership of new subject area datamarts — designing fact and dimension tables from scratch as the warehouse grows
Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:
Required
• 3–5 years of analytics or BI experience — proven track record delivering dashboards and data products in an analytics, BI, or analytics engineering role in a production environment
• Advanced Tableau skills — you build high-performance dashboards and understand data source optimization, calculated fields, and LOD expressions and consider which chart type fits which story, how to reduce noise, and how to design for the reader
• Proficient in SQL — you write complex queries using window functions, CTEs, and optimization techniques to support analysis and data preparation
• Hands-on with dbt and dimensional modeling — you build transformation models, write dbt tests, and design star and snowflake schemas from scratch — and are comfortable inheriting and extending existing modeling conventions
• Proficient with Git — comfortable with branching, pull requests, and code review in a collaborative dbt development environment
• Skilled at requirements gathering — you can scope an ambiguous business request, ask the right questions, and translate the outcome into clear, documented analytical requirements
• Collaborative communicator — equally comfortable working through technical problems with engineers and explaining data model logic and metric definitions clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred
• Experience in a B2B SaaS environment with GTM, revenue, or customer journey data
• Familiarity with API-based data sources and how they feed into a centralized data platform
• Experience using n8n to automate data workflows and event-driven triggers across GTM systems, with exposure to LLM-driven or agentic patterns
• Experience with data diagramming tools (e.g., Lucidchart, dbdiagram.io) for documenting
• Experience with Snowflake as a data platform
