The Wells Fargo Consumer Credit Cards Acquisitions Analytic Consulting Team is seeking a talented individual to join our group and play an active role supporting the business through insightful advanced consumer analytics including financial P&L pro-forma cash flow NPV analysis, financial performance tracking, setting up and evaluating tests, behavioral profiling, and customer segmentation.

You will be working closely with partners in Product Management, Marketing, Risk Management, Customer Service, Collections, and Fraud to propose new business cases that are financially sound and allocate the bank’s capital in an optimal matter. You will play a critical role in working with partners to establish strategic initiatives and focus for the company. Your work will span strategically important decision areas relating to growing new account production and optimizing existing account profitability. You will have the opportunity to leverage creative and industry-leading technologies in a fast-paced environment with senior management exposure. This position is specifically focused on driving long-term business growth.

The successful candidate will need to have a strong understanding of the business strategy, financial cash flow analysis and credit risk in a Financial Services/ Banking domain. Experience in manipulating large analytical databases using the SAS programming language is preferred. The candidate needs to have great presentation and writing skills and a strong record in achieving success through partnering.

The Financial Analysis & Consulting team is a dynamic and exciting group in charge of optimizing and growing Wells Fargo’s income by balancing risk and reward through sophisticated financial modeling and analytical techniques.

Specifically, this position will be responsible for:
- Complex analysis to support management decision-making and strategic objectives
- Driving pricing recommendations and profitability reporting and analytics
- Prepare financial models/ business cases to support key business initiatives and sizing potential business opportunities
- Perform complex data mining and predictive modeling to analyzing portfolio trends
- Proposing and reviewing product line or service changes or expansions

Basic Qualifications
6+ years analytical and reporting experience or a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences
with 3+ years directly applicable work experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• 6+ years recent and relevant analytical and reporting experience within the financial services industry or a minimum of a Masters degree in programs such as applied mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics or computer sciences with 3+ years directly applicable work experience.

• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.

• Advanced Excel skills including nested formulas, arrays, and VBA.

• Clear communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Senior level analytical and consulting experience in the consumer finance industry.
