Analytics Consultant

As an Analytics Consultant, you will join an ambitious analytics team dedicated to making Netcompany a leading European knowledge hub in digitalization, competitiveness, and growth. You are a highly analytical professional with an interest in economics and digitalisation, and who is motivated by turning data and analyses into knowledge with real impact.

Job description and tasks

As our new Analytics Consultant, you will assist Netcompany’s Chief Economist in developing and conducting economic and strategic analyses. You will contribute to the entire analysis process – from data collection and method selection to analysis, visualisation, and presentation. You will translate complex analyses into clear insights and messages and support analyses of the economic effects of digitalisation, including productivity, the labour market, and public efficiency.

You will report directly to our Chief Economist, in our new strategic unit led by Ulrik Vestergaard Knudsen, Chief Corporate Affairs Officer.

You will work with complex challenges at the intersection between economics, society, and technology and build experience with thought leadership, external publications, and strategic analyses in a knowledge-driven consultancy.

Your tasks will include:

• Contributing to the preparation of analyses, reports, and white papers on digitalisation, competitiveness, and growth
• Collecting, processing, and analysing data from national and international sources
• Preparing analyses, figures, charts, and visualisations for use in publications and presentations
• Preparing notes and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Collaboration with consultants and technical specialists to link analysis to specific digital solutions

About you

To succeed in this role, it is important that you are structured, analytical and detail oriented. We value curiosity and initiative in relation to data, methods, and problem-solving. In addition, you must thrive with collaboration and be comfortable working closely with senior leadership.

We expect you to:

• Hold a relevant master’s degree in economics, social sciences, political science, data science, or similar
• Have experience with analytical work, e.g. consulting work, analytical functions, or research environments
• Have a fundamental understanding of quantitative analysis and statistics
• Be interested in the significance of digitalisation for the economy, competitiveness, and growth
