Sommaire du poste : 

OPAL-RT est à la recherche d’un professionnel en développement d'affaires ambitieux qui participera au succès de la compagnie. Le candidat sélectionné possèdera d’excellentes aptitudes de communication, un bon sens de l’organisation et une capacité à travailler autant de façon autonome qu’au sein d’une équipe de travail dynamique. Sous la supervision du chef d'équipe Solutions Client, l’Analyste de Solutions Client se joint à une équipe bien établie de professionnels chevronnés dans le domaine des ventes techniques et du marketing pour participer à nos fonctions mondiales de vente et de marketing de solutions faites sur mesures que ce soit en intégration ou en R&D. 

Au sein de ce rôle, le candidat sélectionné aura la charge de l'interaction et du suivi avec les clients, de la saisie et la vérification des devis commerciaux puis participation aux jalons clés des commandes clients auxquelles il aura participé en prévente. 

Les domaines applicatifs seront principalement centrés sur le domaine de l’électronique de Puissance et Énergie. Par contre, le candidat pourrait être appeler à supporter ses collègues dans les autres domaines d’application chez OPAL-RT comme aérospatial, la défense, l’automobile, autonomie, etc. 

Principales responsabilités : 

Évaluer les spécifications techniques, les besoins et les objectifs du client pour déterminer quelles configurations de matérielles et logicielles seraient les plus appropriées; 

Aider nos représentants commerciaux à préparer des propositions de projets techniques, à rechercher et compiler des devis commerciaux pour nos clients; 

Aider nos représentants commerciaux dans la préparation de l’offre, ainsi que dans le suivi tout au long de la durée du processus, y compris, si nécessaire, la révision et la négociation des contrats; 

Effectuer des présentations techniques et des démonstrations de produits OPAL-RT et National Instruments autant au niveau matériel que logiciel à l’interne, ainsi qu’à de potentiels clients; 

Coordonner et assister aux démonstrations des équipements OPAL-RT et National Instruments chez de potentiels clients; 

Participer à des visites clients au Canada et ailleurs dans le monde; 

Participer à des salons professionnels et à des conférences internationales en tant qu’exposant ou de visiteur représentant OPAL-RT. 

Exigences : 

Scolarité: Baccalauréat ou Maitrise en génie Électrique, informatique ou mécanique; 

Expérience : 2 à 5 ans d'expérience dans un rôle technique ou de gestion de la clientèle. Une expérience dans le domaine de l'énergie; 

Connaissances requises : expérience avec MATLAB/Simulink, RT-LAB et sa suite logicielle, ainsi que National Instruments LabVIEW et VeriSTAND sont considérés comme des atouts; 

Connaissances linguistiques : Français obligatoire. Anglais niveau professionnel avancé (oral et écrit) pour la communication avec les clients anglophones. 

Compétences recherchées: Excellente communication écrite et verbale, sens de l’organisation et qualités interpersonnelles. Capable de travailler sous pression, axé sur les résultats, attitude positive, excellent esprit d'équipe, aime aider ses collègues et les clients.

Reporting to the Custom Solutions’ Team leader, the Customer Solutions Analyst joins a well-established team of passionate technical sales and marketing professionals to participate in our global sales and marketing of our custom integrated solutions and R&D projects. 

 Within this role, the selected candidate will oversee interaction and follow-up with customers, building and verifying commercial quotes and then participating in customer projects’ key milestones of quoted opportunities. 

The application areas will focus mainly on Power Systems and Energy. The candidate may be called upon to support their colleagues with OPAL-RT's other application areas such as aerospace and defense, automotive, autonomy, etc. 

Main responsibilities: 

Evaluate the technical specifications, needs, and objectives of the client to determine the most appropriate hardware and software configurations; 

Assist sales representatives preparing technical project proposals, researching and compiling commercial quotes for our clients; 

Assist sales representative presenting offers as well as following up throughout the duration of the process, including, if necessary, the review and negotiation of contracts; 

Perform technical presentations and demonstrations of OPAL-RT and National Instruments products both at the hardware and software level internally and to potential customers; 

Coordinate and attend demonstrations of OPAL-RT and National Instruments equipment at potential customer sites; 

Participate in customer visits in Canada and abroad; 

Participate in trade shows and international conferences in Canada and abroad as an exhibitor or visitor representing OPAL-RT. 

Requirements: 

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer or Mechanical Engineering; 

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a technical or customer management role. Experience in the energy industry; 

Knowledge Required: Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, RT-LAB and its software suite as well as National Instruments LabVIEW and VeriSTAND is considered an asset; 

Language abilities: French is mandatory. Excellent English skills (oral and written) for communication with English-speaking customers. 

Soft skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to work under pressure, results oriented, positive attitude, excellent team player, enjoys helping colleagues.
