Sommaire du poste :

OPAL-RT est à la recherche d’un(e) analyste en solutions client ambitieux(se) qui participera activement au succès de l’entreprise. La personne retenue possède d’excellentes compétences en communication (anglais), un bon sens de l’organisation et la capacité de travailler de façon autonome tout en s’intégrant à une équipe dynamique. Il s’agit d’un poste idéal pour une personne proactive, motivée par les défis.

Relevant du responsable de la ligne d’affaires Mobilité, l’analyste en solutions client se joint à une équipe bien établie de CSA passionnés et de professionnels du développement des affaires afin de contribuer aux ventes mondiales de solutions intégrées sur mesure et aux projets de R&D.

Dans ce rôle, la personne sélectionnée agira comme référent(e) technique et expert(e) de contenu durant le processus de prévente. Elle sera responsable de réaliser une analyse technique approfondie afin de concevoir des solutions intégrées adaptées aux besoins des clients. Elle sera également appelée à effectuer des démonstrations techniques avancées.

Les domaines d’application concerneront principalement le secteur de la mobilité, notamment l’aéronautique et l’automobile. La personne pourrait également être appelée à soutenir ses collègues dans d’autres domaines d’application d’OPAL-RT, tels que l’énergie, ou à appuyer l’équipe d’intégration lors de l’exécution de projets.

Principales responsabilités :

Évaluer les spécifications techniques, les besoins et les objectifs des clients afin de déterminer les configurations matérielles et logicielles les plus appropriées ;

Soutenir les représentants des ventes dans la préparation des propositions techniques, la recherche et la compilation des soumissions commerciales destinées aux clients ;

Appuyer les représentants des ventes lors de la présentation des offres et assurer le suivi tout au long du processus, y compris, au besoin, la révision et la négociation des contrats ;

Réaliser des présentations techniques et des démonstrations des produits OPAL-RT et National Instruments, tant au niveau matériel que logiciel, à l’interne et auprès de clients potentiels ;

Coordonner et participer aux démonstrations des équipements OPAL-RT et National Instruments chez des clients potentiels ;

Participer occasionnellement à des visites clients en Europe ;

Participer à des salons commerciaux et à des conférences internationales en Europe à titre d’exposant ou de visiteur représentant OPAL-RT.

Exigences :

Formation : Baccalauréat ou maîtrise en génie électrique, informatique, industriel ou mécanique.

Expérience : De 2 à 5 ans d’expérience dans un rôle technique ou en gestion de la relation client. Une expérience dans les domaines suivants est considérée comme un atout : réseaux électriques, électronique de puissance, aéronautique, automobile et/ou simulation.

Connaissances requises : Une expérience avec MATLAB/Simulink, RT-LAB et sa suite logicielle, ainsi qu’avec National Instruments LabVIEW et VeriSTAND, constitue un atout.

Compétences linguistiques : Excellente maîtrise de l’anglais, à l’oral et à l’écrit, pour communiquer avec des clients anglophones.

Compétences relationnelles : Excellentes aptitudes en communication écrite et verbale, en organisation et en relations interpersonnelles. Capacité à travailler sous pression, orientation vers les résultats, attitude positive, excellent esprit d’équipe et plaisir à soutenir ses collègues.

Job summary:

OPAL-RT is looking for an ambitious Customer solution Analyst who will actively participate in the success of the company. The selected candidate will have excellent communication skills (English), a good sense of organization, and an ability to work both independently and within a dynamic team. Reporting to the Head of Mobility Business Line, the Customer Solutions Analyst joins a well-established team of passionate CSAs, and business development professionals to participate in our global sales of our custom integrated solutions and R&D projects.

Within this role, the selected candidate will act as the technical lead and subject matter expert during the pre-sales process. He will be responsible to perform exhaustive technical scoping in order to design tailored integrated solutions meeting customer needs. He will also be responsible to handle advanced technical demos.

The application areas will focus mainly on Mobility sector such as Aerospace & Automotive. The candidate may be called upon to support their colleagues with OPAL-RT's other application areas such as Energy or to support the integration team for project execution.

Main responsibilities:

Evaluate the technical specifications, needs, and objectives of the client to determine the most appropriate hardware and software configurations;

Assist sales representatives preparing technical project proposals, researching and compiling commercial quotes for our clients;

Assist sales representative presenting offers as well as following up throughout the duration of the process, including, if necessary, the review and negotiation of contracts;

Perform technical presentations and demonstrations of OPAL-RT and National Instruments products both at the hardware and software level internally and to potential customers;

Coordinate and attend demonstrations of OPAL-RT and National Instruments equipment at potential customer sites;

Potentially Participate in customer visits in Europe;

Participate in trade shows and international conferences in Europe as an exhibitor or visitor representing OPAL-RT.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Computer, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering;

Experience: 2-5 years of experience in a technical or customer management role. Experience in the following fields: electrical networks, power electronics, aerospace, automotive and/or a related simulation field;

Knowledge Required: Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, RT-LAB and its software suite as well as National Instruments LabVIEW and VeriSTAND is considered an asset;

Language abilities: Excellent English skills (oral and written) for communication with English-speaking customers.

Soft skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Able to work under pressure, results oriented, positive attitude, excellent team player, enjoys helping colleagues.
