About the Team

Agoda's Supply GenAI team is building the next generation of AI-powered tools to transform how our commercial operations teams work with hotel partners worldwide. We're developing intelligent assistants, automated workflows, and data-driven insights platforms that leverage Large Language Models to streamline complex business processes, improve decision-making, and scale human expertise.

Our team sits at the intersection of engineering, analytics, and AI innovation. We build production systems that turn raw data into actionable intelligence, automate repetitive workflows, and enable our business users to focus on high-value strategic work. In This Role, You'll Get to:

• Build and maintain microservices that power AI-driven analytics and automation workflows

• Develop APIs, web interfaces, and data pipelines that integrate business data with LLM-powered applications

• Work with modern web technologies (primarily Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript) to build full-stack features

• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) to build intelligent features and automation

• Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement new features based on user feedback

• Write clean, maintainable code with a focus on testing, documentation, and code quality

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices

• Work with databases (PostgreSQL) to query, transform, and serve data to applications

• Implement monitoring and logging to ensure system reliability and performance

• Join user feedback sessions and shadowing to learn how business users work

• Learn and grow in a supportive environment with mentorship from senior team members

• Contribute to the full development lifecycle from design through deployment and maintenance

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• 1–3 years of software engineering or data engineering experience (or strong internship/project experience for new grads)

• Strong programming skills in Python with understanding of modern development practices (experience with JavaScript/TypeScript is a plus)

• Experience building or consuming RESTful APIs

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL

• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and frameworks

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail

• Ability to take feedback and iterate on solutions

• Interest in AI/ML applications and building user-facing products

It's Great if You Have:

• Experience with modern Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask) and testing tools (pytest)

• Frontend development experience with React or TypeScript

• Exposure to LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) or prompt engineering

• Background working with business teams or building internal tools

• Knowledge of Docker, Git, and collaborative development workflows

• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databases

• Passion for building tools that improve user productivity and curiosity about GenAI applications
