Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Role Overview
The Analyst, FP&A role within the Business Finance Center (BFC) supports the Americas region by providing timely, accurate financial analysis, reporting, and process support. The role contributes to budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and management reporting activities, while gaining exposure to multiple business areas, financial processes, and analytical tools.
This position is well-suited for an early-career finance professional who is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to learn within a fast-paced, global environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities by gathering data, performing analyses, and preparing standard reports.
- Assist in analyzing financial performance versus budget, forecast, and prior periods, helping identify key drivers, trends, and variances.
- Support month-end close activities, including data validation, variance analysis support, and preparation of financial reporting inputs in partnership with Senior Analysts and Controllers.
- Maintain and update financial models, templates, and reports using Microsoft Excel and other approved tools.
- Assist in the preparation of dashboards and management reporting materials using standard reporting and analytics platforms.
- Support business and finance stakeholders by responding to routine requests for financial data and analysis.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial outputs, following established processes and internal controls.
- Document processes and support efforts to improve efficiency, data quality, and standardization.
- Collaborate with team members across regions and functions, proactively escalating issues or data inconsistencies when identified.

All About You
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or Business Administration required.
- 0–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, FP&A, or a related analytical role (internships or entry-level experience acceptable).
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Solid foundational skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint is preferred.
- Interest in developing skills in financial modeling, reporting, and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, financial systems).
- Ability to follow structured processes and deliver outputs within defined timelines.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn, with a strong team-oriented mindset.
