The Digital Operations Analyst at e.l.f. Beauty is a technical-functional role responsible for the day-to-day support, stability, and effective use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and adjacent Regulatory and R&D business systems. This role focuses on supporting business processes, system functionality, and user experience—working through cross-functional teams rather than directly building or owning product data.
The position partners closely with Regulatory, Research & Development (R&D), Product Development (PD), Product Innovation, and Master Data teams, serving as a first line of support and a bridge between business users and technical system owners.
Key Responsibilities:
PLM & Business Systems Support
• Provide daily operational and functional support for PLM and related Regulatory and R&D tools.
• Act as a primary point of contact for system questions, issues, and troubleshooting related to workflows, configurations, and system behavior.
• Escalate and coordinate system issues with internal technology teams or external vendors as needed.
• Support system releases, testing, and validation from a business-process perspective.
Business Process & Functional Enablement
• Support and reinforce standard business processes within PLM and connected systems across Regulatory, R&D, PD, and Product Innovation teams.
• Help users understand system functionality, data flow, and best practices without directly creating or maintaining core data.
• Identify process gaps or system limitations and partner with stakeholders to propose functional improvements.
•
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Data, Regulatory, R&D, PD, Product Innovation, and Master Data teams to ensure systems support end-to-end product lifecycle needs.
• Serve as a liaison between business teams and technical teams, translating business process needs into functional system requirements.
• Collaborate primarily with global stakeholders.
Reporting & Ad-Hoc Support
• Assist with ad-hoc reporting requests and system inquiries related to PLM, formula and regulatory workflows.
• Support visibility into product formula, and compliance statuses through system outputs and reports.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
• Document system workflows, support processes, and known issues to improve consistency and user adoption.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on system usability, process efficiency, and regulatory readiness.
• Compile Dossier & PIF for Regulatory Teams
Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience in a technical-functional or systems support role for PLM or similar enterprise business systems.
• Strong understanding of business processes across the product lifecycle, preferably in cosmetics, skincare, or regulated consumer products.
• Familiarity with Regulatory, R&D, or compliance-driven workflows is strongly preferred.
• Comfortable supporting users, troubleshooting issues, and working within established system configurations (not responsible for data build or architecture).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Clear, confident communicator, able to work across business and technical teams.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support collaboration with U.S.-based teams.
• Interest in beauty, cosmetics, or skincare is a plus.
