ROLE OBJECTIVE:
Reporting to the Director of Business Intelligence, the Senior Analyst, Business Intelligence is responsible for bringing together complex, high-volume, high-dimensional data from myriad sources to execute client projects. This individual will participate in the development and implementation of Environics Analytics’ (EA) advanced marketing analytics capabilities and techniques to meet clients’ business needs. This individual must be detail-oriented, have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have a strong client service orientation.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
To effectively fulfill the responsibilities of this position, the employee must be able to complete the following:
Design and build analytical files and analytical frameworks for client projects.
Analyze, interpret and communicate the results of the analytical solution.
Participate in client meetings and assist in identifying client needs; help to recommend solutions from among EA’s data, software and advanced marketing capabilities to meet those needs.
In conjunction with the model development team, participate in developing and validating predictive models.
Summarize data in tables and charts, interpret the data, seek relevant insights, and write reports supporting client objectives.
Prepare and present PowerPoint presentations of research results including extensive use of data visualization.
Manage projects from start to finish, managing timelines while maintaining high quality.
Work closely with Insights, Client Services, Data Solutions, Account Management and Sales staff to meet client requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIRED SKILLS:
Education - Post-secondary degree in Geography, Business or related field
Experience - Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence and/or Data Mining & Reporting
Technical Skills – Possesses programming skills to allow for self-sufficiency in handling data (Python, SQL, SAS, SPSS). Expertise in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Must be comfortable working with large quantities of data. Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, Tableau and PowerBI are required.
Analytical Skills – Effectively researches and synthesizes complex or diverse information; uses intuition and experience to complement data and designs workflows and procedures.
Judgment - Displays willingness to make timely decisions, including appropriate people in the decision-making process and exhibits sound and accurate judgment; supports and explains reasoning for decisions
