The Role and Impact
Join Intel as a SoC Power Delivery and Integrity Validation Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the power delivery and signal integrity of Intel products meet the highest standards. This position provides an opportunity to apply your expertise in silicon power delivery and signal integrity validation to optimize product performance across diverse workloads, process technologies, and environmental conditions. Collaborate with architecture, design, verification, and platform teams to drive innovative solutions that shape the next generation of Intel technologies. Your contributions will not only advance Intel products but also help define industry-leading methodologies for power delivery and signal integrity validation challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and execute silicon power delivery and signal integrity validation plans across Intel products.
- Perform detailed workload analysis to achieve power delivery optimization goals across process, voltage, and temperature conditions.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of voltage regulator designs to ensure sufficient current is delivered to IPs powered by internal voltage regulators.
- Debug power delivery issues and implement robust design fixes through experimental validation approaches.
- Characterize and validate power delivery and signal integrity performance across varying operating temperature ranges.
- Develop and maintain validation methodologies, processes, and postsilicon infrastructures, including behavioral checkers, performance monitors, and state space coverage tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, optimize designs, and conduct failure analysis for continuous improvement.
- Drive validation test strategy and methodology enhancements to align with product specifications.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's or BS degree and/or prolonged course of study in a specialized field or equivalent experience meeting business needs or job requirements.
- 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree, 2+ years with a Master's degree, or 0 years with a PhD.
- Proficiency in silicon validation methodologies, including power delivery and signal integrity testing.
- Demonstrated expertise in voltage regulator design and silicon signal integrity tradeoffs.
- Experience with postsilicon validation infrastructure development, including performance monitors and behavioral checkers.
- Skilled in workload analysis and power delivery optimization across process, voltage, and temperature conditions.
- Familiarity with debug tools and validation test environments.

- Strong problem-solving skills to root cause and resolve power delivery and signal integrity validation challenges.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work across architecture, design, verification, and platform teams.
- Proven track record of driving continuous improvements in validation methodologies and processes.
- Ability to apply technical expertise to influence and contribute to next-generation product direction.
