JobType: full-time
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AMS Verification Engineer to join our growing semiconductor design team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for verifying complex Analog Mixed-Signal (AMS) designs to ensure functional correctness, performance compliance, and silicon readiness. You will work closely with analog designers, digital teams, and layout engineers to validate mixed-signal IPs and SoCs across various process nodes.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive AMS verification plans for mixed-signal blocks and full-chip designs.
• Create and maintain testbenches using industry-standard verification methodologies.
• Perform functional and performance verification of analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Collaborate with analog and digital design teams to understand design intent and define verification strategies.
• Debug simulation failures, identify root causes, and provide detailed feedback to design teams.
• Validate interfaces between analog and digital domains, ensuring proper signal integrity and timing alignment.
• Run regression suites, analyze results, and ensure coverage closure.
• Utilize simulation and modeling tools to verify behavioral and transistor-level designs.
• Support pre-silicon validation efforts and contribute to post-silicon correlation activities when required.
• Document verification plans, test cases, results, and coverage metrics clearly and accurately.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to improving verification processes and methodologies.
What Makes You a Great Fit
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AMS verification within semiconductor or IC design environments.
• Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit fundamentals.
• Experience with mixed-signal simulation environments and verification flows.
• Proficiency in Verilog, SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS, or similar modeling languages.
• Familiarity with UVM or other structured verification methodologies (where applicable to mixed-signal flows).
• Experience working with industry-standard EDA tools for simulation and debugging.
• Solid understanding of signal integrity, timing analysis, and low-power verification concepts.
• Ability to analyze complex waveform data and debug multi-domain interactions.
• Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Perl, or Tcl) to automate regression and verification tasks.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate across cross-functional engineering teams.
• Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities within project deadlines.
