Job Description

Duration: 3-4 weeks (short-term engagement)

We are looking for an experienced Alteryx Administrator. The role involves planning and executing the transition of Alteryx Server to a new environment or upgraded version, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a migration plan for building new Alteryx servers in a new data center
• Ensure minimal impact on development and production environments, including potential reuse of legacy server names
• Manage environments with different versions (Non-Prod vs Prod), including required upgrades
• Set up and configure:
• 1 Non-Production Server
• 1 Production Server

• Document current and target architecture, migration plan, and timelines
• Execute migration of the non-production server
• Provide post-migration support and perform necessary adjustments
• Execute migration and upgrade of the production server
• Provide post-migration and post-upgrade support and stabilization

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Alteryx Administrator
• Hands-on experience with Alteryx Server installation, configuration, and upgrades
• Experience with server migration and version upgrades in Alteryx environments
• Strong understanding of Alteryx Server architecture
• Ability to plan and execute migrations with minimal downtime
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with data center migrations
• Experience working with multiple environment versions (Non-Prod vs Prod)
• Familiarity with performance optimization and scaling
