Who we are looking for
We are hiring a Japanese-speaking Custody Officer for within our Custody & Securities Services team. This is a long-term role with end-to-end accountability for delivering stable, high-quality custody service to our institutional clients.

What you will be responsible for
As a Alternative Operations Pricing & Valuation Specialist, you will:
• Act as a point of contact for custody-related client queries, providing timely, accurate responses and maintaining strong client relationships
• Maintain client static data and documentation with high accuracy, ensuring appropriate approvals, audit trail, and timely updates
• Coordinate closely with internal operations teams to ensure smooth and consistent service delivery
• Prepare internal reports and maintain required records and documentation
• Identify, investigate, and escalate breaks, errors, and operational risks promptly; support root-cause analysis and remediation actions
• Provide backup coverage and, support knowledge sharing, onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives within the team

Education & Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Relevant experience in Custody / Securities Services / Middle Office operations with good understanding of operational risk and controls.
Additional requirements
• Fluency in Japanese and English (written and spoken) is essential.
