Otis is growing and is looking for an apprentice mechanic for one of our entities located in XYZ.You will work alongside a qualified elevator mechanic to learn about the elevator mechanic trade.This is your chance to discover and train for a job with a future! On a typical day you will: Work on a daily basis with an experienced tutor, who will support you as you learn the job. Familiarize yourself with the basic workings of an elevator through site visits and formal learning Learn how electronic and mechanical systems work, connecting components to form complex systems Learn digital tools such as IoT and its function in elevators Carry out preventive maintenance on contracted equipment: regular visits, checking safety devices.
What you will need to be successful (adjust for local regulations) You are at least 18 years old.
