Job Description
Ramsay Clinic Orange is looking for a Group Therapist to facilitate inpatient and day patient group therapy programs in our 15-bed adult mood disorders unit as part of our multidisciplinary team.
This pivotal role will be well suited to an Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Psychologist who has demonstrated experience in group facilitation.
Your Skills and Experience
You will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in the delivery of healthcare services to patients seeking mental health treatment. To succeed in this role, you will be a motivated and a flexible team player willing to contribute to the development of a cohesive and interactive team.
You will need to demonstrate:
Qualifications in relevant specialty, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Social Worker with current relevant registration with AHPRA
Experience leading both individual and group therapy sessions, as well as psychoeducation sessions for patients, carers, and families.
Demonstrates clinical abilities in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention strategies. These may encompass approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, as well as problem-solving techniques and crisis management.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team
Willingness to participate in a continuous quality improvement environment
Able to adapt group content for a varied audience whilst ensuring the integrity of Ramsay’s evidence-based group therapy programs
Able to plan, organise and prioritise workload in a complex therapeutic environment
Remuneration
A base hourly rate ranging from $38.26 - $55.42 + superannuation + applicable penalty rates. Based on experience level and qualifications (NSW Allied Health Professionals Level 1.1 – 2.4)

About Us
Ramsay Clinic Orange is a private, 15 bed voluntary mental health unit located within Dudley Private Hospital. All patients are under the care of a psychiatrist and supported by a multi-disciplinary team of health professionals. We offer specialist clinical care for adults experiencing mood and anxiety disorders and general mental health disorders. Our services include an inpatient program, day program, and neurostimulation services.

Requirements
Provide or complete a National Police Check conducted within the last 12 months
According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
