As a SAP consulting generalist at PwC, you will focus on providing consulting services across various SAP applications to clients, analysing their needs, implementing software solutions, and offering training and support for effective utilisation of SAP applications. Your versatile knowledge will allow you to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency and achieving their strategic objectives.

Role Overview

The SAP Lead will be responsible for driving SAP-enabled transformations and leading strategic initiatives that align technology solutions with business objectives. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to deliver innovative SAP solutions that optimize processes and create measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities

· SAP Strategy & Leadership

o Develop and execute SAP technology strategies aligned with organizational goals.

o Lead SAP practice and oversee end-to-end delivery of SAP projects.

o Provide thought leadership on SAP-enabled digital transformation initiatives.

· Solution Design & Implementation

o Design and implement enterprise SAP solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

o Translate business requirements into effective SAP architectures and configurations.

o Oversee integration of SAP modules with other enterprise systems.

· Stakeholder Engagement

o Collaborate with business leaders, project managers, and technical teams to ensure successful SAP implementations.

Communicate complex technical concepts in business terms to stakeholders.

· Team Leadership & Development

o Mentor and guide SAP consultants and technical teams.

o Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the SAP practice.

· Governance & Compliance

o Ensure SAP solutions adhere to governance frameworks and compliance standards.

o Support audits and maintain documentation for SAP architecture and processes.

· Vendor & Partner Management

o Manage relationships with SAP and technology vendors.

o Negotiate contracts and optimize vendor management processes.

Qualifications

· Education

o Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field.

o MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

· Experience

o 10+ years of experience in SAP solution architecture and implementation.

o Proven track record in leading SAP-enabled transformations and digital initiatives.

o Experience in SAP BPC, SAP EPM, and integration with other SAP modules.

· Technical Skills

o Deep knowledge of SAP modules, integration options, and development tools.

o Expertise in SAP BPC configuration, data integration, and reporting.

o Familiarity with IT service management best practices.

· Soft Skills

o Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.

o Excellent communication and ability to translate technical solutions into business value.

o Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach.

Preferred Certifications

· SAP Solution Architect certifications.
