Become a valued member of our vibrant airport customer service team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service to travellers at Manchester Airport! As a Check-In Agent, you will be the friendly face that greets passengers, helping to make their check-in experience seamless and enjoyable, all while adhering to our airline and airport service guidelines.

Start Date:

• JUNE 2026

Interview's will be held at Optimes WARRINGTON office, Applicants are required to meet us in person, face to face to progress with this position.

What's on offer:

• Rate of pay: £13.35 per hour
• 20 hours per week.
• Shift pattern: 5 on 3 off.
• Airline: EasyJet
• Ongoing shifts and development opportunities.
• 2 weeks paid training provided from the start date above.
• Weekly pay
• Temp to Perm (performance-based)
• There will be opportunities to up skill and complete airside boarding training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guide passengers through the self-service check-in, boarding gate and baggage processing seamlessly.
• Check and validate travel documents such as passports and boarding passes, ensuring they meet airline requirements.
• Process payments for baggage and additional services with accuracy.
• Oversee passenger queues to ensure a smooth and efficient check-in experience.
• Offer clear communication and assistance during any disruptions, delays, or emergencies.
• Provide outstanding customer service while presenting a professional demeaner and punctuality.
• Collaborate effectively with airport and airline teams to promote safety and operational efficiency.

Shifts:

The Airport is operational 7 days per week and candidates will be working on a 5 on 3 off rolling rota.

An example of the shift hours for 20 hours per week (5 on 3 off pattern):

• Day 1: 02:00 am to 07:30 am
• Day 2: 03:00 am to 08:30 am
• Day 3: 05:00 am to 12:00 pm
• Day 4: 12:30 pm to 18:00 pm
• Day 5: 05:00 am to 10:30 am
• Day 6: OFF
• Day 7: OFF
• Day 8: OFF

Requirements:

• Valid Passport or UK photo ID (Driving Licence, Birth Certificate, or National ID).
• Right to work and live in the UK (proof required).
• Able to stand for extended periods (4–8 hours).
• Provide 5 years of checkable employment/education history via HMRC.
• Basic criminal record check required (post-interview).
